Split AC
Split air conditioner, is a type of air conditioning system commonly used for cooling residential and commercial spaces. It consists of two main components: an indoor unit and an outdoor unit.
The indoor unit is typically installed inside the room or area that requires cooling. It comprises the evaporator coil, blower fan, and air filters. The evaporator coil cools and dehumidifies the air, while the blower fan circulates the cooled air throughout the room. The air filters help remove dust, allergens, and other particles from the air.
The outdoor unit, also called the condensing unit, is installed outside the building. It contains the condenser coil, compressor, and a fan. The compressor is responsible for compressing the refrigerant gas, which raises its temperature. The hot refrigerant then flows through the condenser coil, where it releases heat to the external environment. The fan helps dissipate this heat and maintain optimal operating conditions for the system.
